Melvins - live recording

Had the chance to work on a multitrack soundboard recording of The Melvins when they came to Baton Rouge last August. Mixed in my own audience mic recording as well. I'd like to make this as good as I can, since I have the chance/freedom to do so.

At times, I feel like I should boost the drums some in the mix. Thoughts?

Thanks. Yeah that's what I thought, that maybe the drums are a bit weak at times, especially considering that there were two drummers. I COULD spend more time on it and go in to play with the levels on a song-by-song, or even moment-by-moment basis... I suppose...

So time-consuming though. Not sure there's enough interest in this to really warrant more time on it.

Are you able to see my comment below the song, when you preview it? It has my recording info, which would be of some interest to collectors/traders. Also, are you able to leave a comment yourself for each song, if you wanted to?

Listening now. Love it. I'm no mixing expert, but it sounds perfect to me.

I know I'm a little late on this one but there is definitely interest. This year has been a big Melvins year for me and once I get my own comp running, I'll check it out.

I've been a huge Melvins fanatic for years. Actually, I saw Adam (from WSOBOL tour) at a Melvins show in Brooklyn last year. The recording sounds great, It is tough with both Dale and Coady.
