| I caught a couple of live Puscifer shows back in Fall '09. I enjoyed it much more than most of the studio stuff I'd heard. I don't know how someone could not like a song like this...

Here's my tape from each night, if anyone is interested...

| douse, as always, speaks the truth. I would punch the devil in the nose for a new Tool and APC album and then a co-headlining tour where APC opens for Tool. |

| The man's gonna do what he's gonna do. Be that taking a season off to go play with his vineyard, or whatever... Not to mention the fact that TOOL was never a band to rush out a new album. It's always been a 4-5 year process.
All I can say is that I was more curious than anything before seeing the live show, and it was the live show that made me a fan. |

| I think seeing him live is what the key is. I would probably like seeing him in concert tying his shoes but enough of the self indulgence...Get to the Tool and new APC!!! |

| From what I've heard, APC will be releasing a new album in early 2011 and then touring on it. And... I think you're forgetting that Maynard actually said he was done with APC at one time. Billy Howerdel was moving forward with other projects, and considering replacing Maynard in APC, possibly with a female vocalist.
I've also heard that members of TOOL have been laying down new material in recent months.
Rushing something that's not ready to come out is a recipe for mediocrity. I'd rather wait for a great album, personally. |

Agree. That's why its a minimum of 4 years in between Tool albums. |

Rushing something that's not ready to come out is a recipe for mediocrity. I'd rather wait for a great album, personally. yeah well APC split up for 5 or 6 years. howerdel put out the ashes divide album in 2008 which i thought was pretty good, and with apc billy writes alot of the music and lyrics, maynard had very little writing responsibilites in the band besides singing the songs, and thats all fine and dandy because his godly voice is enough to make that band so good. apc announced they were active and writing again in 2008, and remember reading that billy said he never stops writing, so i'm sure he has alot up his sleeve for apc I'm sure tool have been writing for a while now as well, maybe even years as far as we know. so i dont think a new album for them in 2011 would be that far fetched. after all that would leave 5 years between 10,000 days and a new one. i wouldnt say thats rushing it |

| I don't believe Billy has written any of the lyrics for APC. That's Maynard's domain. Also, there won't be a new APC album anytime soon. According to Billy they will be touring in the Spring, but not for a new album. RE: Puscifer - I dig it. V is for Vagina was pretty mediocre, mostly because of the vocal effects that were used throughout. Why Maynard would want to cover up his voice is beyond me, and I think he figured that out. C is for...is a better effort, though. I've seen them a couple of times live, including the first show ever, and even if you don't care for the studio stuff, you'll probably still enjoy the live experience. Maynard is just an incredible live performer, and personally I'm excited to continue to hear more stuff from Puscifer.
Let me clarify that by saying that if there's a choice, I obviously much prefer new Tool or APC. No question about that, but I think Puscifer's a worthy side project.

| Except for the new APC album bit. That contradicts what I've heard, but I really don't care either way. When it comes out... it comes out, and I'll be happy. Certainly not going to bitch about it either way. And this coming from someone who's seen TOOL 42 times, and APC 14 times... |

Agree. That's why its a minimum of 4 years in between Tool albums. It took them 4 years just to put Aenima and Lateralus into a blender and come out with 10,000 days?? Dont get me wrong, I love tool.... but they'll never be able to make a "new" album. |

| While I rank 10,000 Days at the low end of the list as far as TOOL albums, I don't really consider it just a rehashing. But everyone's entitled to their own opinions. |

| Tool is amazing. I like both the A Perfect Circle albums. I am trying but can't get into Puscifer. I need to listen to Adams boots and see them live and maybe I will be a believer. Tool>A Perfect Circle>Puscifer in my humble opinion. |

| That may be one of the truest things ever typed on the internet. I totally agree. I am ever so thankful to have seen them on the Undertow tour and ever tour since.(Not anything like Adam and his trillion shows...) |

| Unfortunately I didn't get to see them for the first time until 1997. But I was a concert virgin up until Summer 1996, so I can't lament too much. I did my best to make up for missing out on their first 4 years of touring, though. |
